On Sunday, August 11, 2019 creativity was aplenty at the 4th Annual Art-in-the-Park in Milton, Ontario at Country Heritage Park. The day was filled with a celebration of the ARTS! Featuring original art works by 40 emerging and mid career artists exhibiting inside and out of doors. Artists from across Ontario presented works in the following mediums: mixed media; oil,acrylic and watercolour painting; glass; jewelry; ceramics/pottery and photography/digital.

Mono’s own Anthony Jenkins was awarded with best 2D in show and Orangeville’s Heidi von der Gathen, a jeweller, won best 3D in show.
It was a day of Culturally US! presenting not only the visual arts but the diversity and magic of Dance!
Dance performances included: Urban Cowboy Line Dancing; Kathak-North Indian Classical Dance, performance by Neetika Sharma; Classical Egyptian, Folkloric, and Modern Belly Dance by Invoketress Dance Troupe of Guelph; Traditional Irish Dance by Finnegan School of Irish Dance and Bollywood and Bhangra Dance by Bollywood West Dance Studio.

The weather was gorgeous and everyone enjoyed the natural and pristine 80 acre setting at Country Heritage Park, a unique venue and true gem for the arts and all. www.countryheritagepark.com
