DAREarts is a Canadian charitable organization which stands for “Discipline, Action, Responsibility and Excellence.” DAREarts works with youth ages 9 – 19 in rural and urban communities across Canada, using the arts to empower and help them overcome their life challenges. DAREarts believes every child deserves equal opportunity to achieve and express their personal best. With guidance from teachers and art professionals, students have the opportunity to take part in a variety of specialized after-school workshops such as visual arts, drama, dance, music, architecture and fashion design. These experiences help the youth to build their self-confidence and overcome their challenges with courage and the leadership skills needed to make positive changes in their lives.

Every year thousands of kids take part in the DAREarts card program, handcrafting themed cards with the proceeds going to Aboriginal youth across Canada, helping them to create positive futures for themselves. In celebration of local Pan Am Equestrian events, DAREarts kids from the Headwaters region have created a one-of-a-kind set of equine cards, great for any occasion! You can celebrate the Pan Am Games and kids helping kids by purchasing your very own limited edition set. Simply call 1-888-540-2787. Check them out here and get them while supplies last!
